What should you do when you’ve been in an accident?

What to Expect at Medig

Schedule your visit

We know you’re in pain, and getting you better is our top priority. Your initial visit is scheduled within one to two days of calling our office.

Have an exam

The initial evaluation takes up to two hours. In this comprehensive review, our medical providers perform a detailed examination to accurately diagnose your injuries.

Get treatment options

Once we understand your injuries, we create a treatment plan that makes medical sense and fits into your current life situation.

Start feeling better

Our team monitors every aspect of your recovery plan. So if you need something done by another medical provider, our team ensures each phase of your treatment works towards your recovery.

Kinds of therapy

The most important part of your recovery will be manual (“hands-on”) physical therapy and exercise therapy. Both forms of therapy work together to treat the injured areas. The director of manual therapy at Medig has more than 40 years of hands-on patient care experience and actively assists in training all clinical staff.

While we believe manual physical therapy plays an important role in your recovery, we also believe strongly in engaging all patients in our exercise therapy program from their initial visit until they are discharged. Each visit is supervised one-on-one to customize your program based on your specific injuries.

You will see a medical provider on a regular basis to monitor your progress and make any necessary changes to your treatment plan. These could include your medication regimen, ordering x-rays or scans, or referring you to appropriate specialists.
